Chicago Parks Project (2026-TBD)

Gibson began shooting his Chicago Parks Project in the summer of 2026 and will continue to add parks to the project when the opportunity is available. The project is showcasing some of Chicago’s best public parks in all different parts of the city. Each park is composed of 4 static shots. The first is the one you see here, a title shot from the park of the city skyline, this will connect all the parks. After each park will be captured in only 3 shots that are three and a half minutes long.

Shot entirely on 16mm, each park takes one 400 ft roll of film to capture. Leading each park’s run time to be about eleven and a half minutes.
